A Season of Restoration

Jason was one of the first boys to live at Heritage Ranch. He was progressing immensely when the campus was devastated by flooding and he had to return home. Jason and his mom, Stacey, continued weekly counseling at the Ranch. On October 9th, Jason, Ranch staff, family and friends celebrated his graduation from the program.

Throughout their season at the ranch, Stacey has seen growth in herself and Jason. "Jason has matured since he began living at the Ranch. He is more willing to accept responsibility for his choices and pitch in to help others. I have become more patient and have learned to be more specific with my expectations of him." Although Jason will miss the Ranch, he acknowledges he no longer needs to live here. His advice for new residents is, "It's gonna be hard at first...Just stick with it and it'll get better!"
