George BalhoffGeorge Balhoff, Treasurer

George Balhoff, CPA with Postlethwaite & Netterville, has served on numerous community boards, including: Baton Rouge Youth, Inc., Baton Rouge CYO, Inc., St. George Catholic Church Finance Committee and School Finance Committee, Louisiana Prison Chapel Foundation and Leukemia – Lymphoma Society – Louisiana Chapter Board. George is the Chair of the Heritage Ranch Finance Committee and serves as Board Treasurer.

Princeton Bardwell, Chairman

A Baton Rouge native, Princeton graduated from the University of Florida where he began a 35-year career in real estate that has included the roles of real estate broker, consultant, asset manager, investor and developer. Princeton and his wife, Dadie, reside in Baton Rouge and attend First Presbyterian Church. The Bardwells also maintain a residence in West Feliciana Parish. His principal area of interests for business and volunteerism is in the Felicianas. Princeton serves as the Chairman of the Heritage Ranch Board.

Jack Chapman

Jack Chapman is a founding board member and Chairman of the Heritage Ranch Program Committee. Jack's career has spanned 19 years in sales, 5 years working in residential children's programs and 10 years as a business owner/manager. Jack and his wife Jane were previously houseparents at the United Methodist Children's Home and Jack actively volunteers with Alcoholics and Addicts.  

Tom Cook

Tom W. Cook, a Baton Rouge native, earned his BS degree from Louisiana State University in 1980, and has been an independent real estate appraiser for over 20 years. He earned his MAI designation in 1989, and founded the firm now known as Cook, Moore & Associates in 1990. Tom has served as President of the Louisiana Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, President of the Commercial Investment Division of the Baton Rouge Board of Realtors, and President of the Baton Rouge Growth Coalition. Tom has been married to Carol for 25 years. They have two daughters and two sons.


Chat Kleinpeter, Vice Chair

Chat Kleinpeter is married to Sandy Kleinpeter and they have five beautiful daughters. As a family man, Chat recognizes the crucial importance of youth having a safe and loving home environment to grow up in. Chat recognizes the opportunity for Heritage Ranch to make a positive difference in the lives of at-risk youth while also creating positive societal change. His extensive experience on various boards in the community, as well as his career experience as an equine veterinarian are assets to our organization.

Adrian - DirectorAdrian Nadeau

Adrian Nadeau, Associate Attorney with Long Law Firm, is a Heritage Ranch Board Member, Mentor and is Chair of the Site Acquisition and Development Committee.  When asked about his interest in serving with Heritage Ranch, Adrian said, “I believe that all children, regardless of their background, can be successful and happy if given the proper opportunity and support, and I believe that Heritage Ranch and its mission provide this opportunity and support.” Adrian brings to the Board of Directors, not only a passion to serve community youth and families, but a history of community involvement. Adrian has served with the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Volunteer Committee, Forum 35, Feist Weiller Cancer Center and attends St. Jude the Apostle Church. Adrian is married to Carol Ann Nadeau and has two beautiful daughters.

Susie Ross

Susie Ross, judicial assistant to U.S. Magistrate Judge Docia L. Dalby, serves as the chair of the Human Resources Committee. For the past twenty years, Susie has worked in the legal field, concentrating on toxic tort litigation, and labor and employment law litigation. Susie’s volunteer work has included working as a mentor to pregnant teen girls, leading church cell groups for middle school aged girls, and coordinating Project Angel Tree activities for Ascension Parish. Susie is a member of The Chapel in the Oaks where she currently serves in a leadership position with Singular Devotion, a ministry for single adults. When asked why she is involved with Heritage Ranch, Susie shared that she has a “passion for the troubled youth of our culture, believes Heritage Ranch can make a difference in the lives of those children, and feels blessed to be able to serve in whatever capacity is necessary.”
