House Parents will provide full-time, direct care supervision, guidance and protection to boys accepted into the Ranch program. Our mission is to provide these children with a Christ-centered residential home environment, in accordance with the spiritual values established by the Ranch and those established by the Department of Children and Family Services. The qualified individuals will be responsible for supporting our mission, creating a therapeutic environment which will promote healing and nurturing for each child, managing the day-to-day operations of the home and participation in activities involving the children, their parents/guardians and others involved in program activities.
Basic requirements include: Minimum 21 years of age; High school diploma/GED (college degree preferred); Minimum of 2 years positive work experience (basic child welfare support services for children preferred); CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certification required (or the ability to obtain as directed). Additional special skills and competencies may also be required.
This position allows for time off every other weekend and 2 days per week (during school hours), as well as paid holiday and vacation time. Compensation is commensurate with non-profit residential home environments.
